Where to begin? Well, first and foremost, I'm a musician, having started singing in choirs and the like when I was about 5, picking up the viola at 8, and finally getting my hands on my first bass guitar my freshman year of high school. Near the same time, I got into computers. My first computer was a 286 that my parents bought me all the parts for when I was 6 and my pop helped me put together. I played games for hours on that thing with its monochromatic monitor and big ol' floppy disks! I began building websites when I was 8 and never looked back!

Once junior high hit, I began getting interested in what that big board with all the knobs and faders was at the back of the youth room, and asked the guy who ran it to teach me a bit about it. From those humble beginnings, I began doing sound at church functions, mostly in the youth group, which continued until I graduated high school. After graduation, I moved to California where I met John Jordan, owner of J Ace J Studios, who took me in as his intern and taught me how my skills in live sound could translate into the studio. A couple of years later, I returned to my home town in Illinois where I worked several jobs, including a photographer's assistant to Chris Brown (If you look carefully on Chris' site, there's still a picture of me there...) before getting a job with F&G Sound/Topper Lites Inc, who provided sound and lighting to many national acts coming through the area, as well as tons of festivals, fairs, and one off shows in the area. While working at F&G, I was given the opportunity to work with artists like Death Cab for Cutie, They Might Be Giants, Reliant K, and many more. I also continued to do sound and play bass at my church, The Vineyard Church of Champaign-Urbana which has a state of the art sound and lighting installation including a Yamaha DM2000 console, Aviom monitor system, and much, much more.
Since then, I have gotten married to a wonderful woman and moved around a bit. Since getting married, I have lived in Champaign-Urbana, IL, Mahomet, IL, then up near Chicago in Plainfield, IL and finally out to my current town of Dublin, CA where I work as a freelance recording engineer, web designer and general repair guy/effect pedal modder and electronics lover.
